As a part of the FEST.A CROPAK 2013 festival of packaging, CROPAK and REGPAK awards for the best packaging in Croatia and in the region have been awarded on 13 June 2013 in the Kralj hotel in Donji Kraljevec. FEST.A CROPAK 2013 was organized by the Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts, company Tectus from Zagreb and Ambalaža/REGprint trade journal.

At a factory of packaging glass, Vetropack Straža Ltd. located in the town of Hum na Sutli, the winner of the fifth Student Creative Workshop CROPAK 2013 was rewarded. The workshop was successfully organized for the fifth time in a row by the Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts Tectus – IatT and trade journal Ambalaža/REGprint from Zagreb.

International conference "d PRINT – Trends in Digital Printing", organized by the Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts, company Tectus from Zagreb and trade journal Ambalaža/REGprint was held yesterday at Dubrovnik hotel in Zagreb.

The closing ceremony of the exhibition of dresses made of packaging materials "Buttoned-Up by a Scotch Tape" as a part of educational project "Packaging-Product-Consumer-Environment Protection" was held on Sunday, 3rd February 2013 at the atrium of the shopping center Delta City, partner of the exhibition, in Belgrade, Serbia. The exhibition was organized by the Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts Tectus-IatT, Tectus, a company from Zagreb and trade journal "Ambalaža/REGprint. At the end of the exhibition, the best dress was rewarded.

The recently completed World Packaging Days 2012 in Split brought together “the entire packaging world” on our blue Adriatic. During six days, more than 250 participants from 37 countries gathered on formal and informal meetings

FEST:A CROPAK 2011 was organised by the Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts, company Tectus d.o.o. from Zagreb and Ambalaža/REGprint trade journal.

International conference "d PRINT – Trends in Digital Printing", organized by the Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts, company Tectus d.o.o. from Zagreb and trade journal Ambalaža/REGprint was held on September 16th 2010 in Hypo Centar in Zagreb.

Yesterday, on july 6th, started the distribution of the special issue of Ambalaža trade journal called "Packaging in the Function of Product - Water" exclusively in two Mercator shops in Zagreb, (Ulica grada Vukovara and Zagrebačka avenija).

The winner of Student creative workshop 2010 is Tomislav Maričić, a student of Faculty of Graphic Arts, university of Zagreb, who has, under the mentorship of Jesenka Pibernik, created the best graphic design and redesign of packaging of line of products Ralon, a legendary brand owned by Atlantic Grupa d.d. from Zagreb.

Seventh international packaging festival FEST.A CROPAK 2010, organized by Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts, company Tectus d.o.o. and Ambalaža trade journal, ended on May 7th in Rovinj.

FEST.A CROPAK 2010, a two-day festival of packaging organized by Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts, company Tectus d.o.o. and Ambalaža (Packaging) trade journal in Hotel Park in Rovinj reached its culmination on May 7th with the CROPAK and REGPAK 2010 award ceremony.

This year 45 nominations entered CROPAK, award for the best packaging in Croatia, totalling in more than 110 products, while REGPAK had 26 nominations. CROPAK was awarded in eight categories and REGPAK in two.

Students from three Croatian universities will participate in Student Creative Workshop CROPAK 2010 where they will be designing and redesigning the packaging for the legendary aftershave brand Ralon, while the workshop winner will participate in WORLDSTAR, a competition for the best packaging in the world.

Institute for Packaging and Graphic Arts, Tectus d.o.o. and Ambalaža trade journal are traditionally organizing CROPAK annual award for the best packaging on Croatian market.

On September 15th, largest regional packaging and graphic arts portal www.ambalaza.hr launched its new redesign presenting several new features.

Although there were fewer members attending the WPO meetings and events in Mexico City, from June 29 to July 01, the quality of all the proceedings were of the highest standard. The host, Mexican Packaging Organization (AMEE) did a wonderful job making all the arrangements in the midst of recovering from the disruption that the Swine Flu epidemic had forced upon Mexico.
