After the successful exhibition of dresses made of packaging materials "Buttoned-up by Scotch Tape" held in 2012 at the Westgate shopping city in Zagreb and the same project set up at the beginning of this year at the atrium of the shopping centre Delta City in Belgrade, Serbia, our next host is BBI, a shopping center in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Well known Bosnian fashion designers will use eminent brands' packaging materials to make dresses.
The aim of this project is to inform and educate the consumers on packaging and its functions, importance, labelling, methods of disposal etc. By describing the product, attention will be brought to its characteristics and interaction with packaging.
Through a design challenge and a breakthrough in the packaging materials field, special attention will be brought to the need of observing packaging on a high lever of designer creativity.
During the exhibition, there will be some additional events (such as radio quiz, the best dress competition, award to the luckiest voter etc) with the aim of emphasizing the importance of packaging as an inseparable part of a product.
The dresses are designed by renowned Bosnian fashion designers:
Belma Arnautović
Istok Bratić
Adnan Hajrulahović, modni studio Haad
Suada Kuloglija
Ivana Lovreković, I.LO
Ana Lukenda, MOA baggeek
