Graphispack, the Spanish Association of suppliers to the printing industry, packaging and POS was the host of this year’s second World Packaging Organisation (WPO) Board Meeting held from 4 to 7 November in Barcelona at which Croatian Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts Tectus – IatT was represented as well by Drena Milijević, Managing Director of IatT. One of the main discussion topics were packaging education programmes. It was decided at the meeting that WPO will continue to support packaging education programmes across the world, especially in the developing countries. During the meeting, a judging session of the WorldStar Awards 2014 took place and we are proud to say that returnable crate for bottles by Pivovarna Laško, the winner of REGPAK 2013 award, also found its place among the winners.
