Croatian legislation is harmonized with the EU one regarding materials and objects being in immediate contact with food, but it is worth emphasizing that harmonization is a live and continuous process, since European legislation itself is changing according to new scientific knowledge. We discussed this matter with experts from Croatian National Institute of Public Health, Croatian Food Agency and Croatian Ministry of Health.
