The European Organization for Packaging and the Environment (EUROPEN) is an industry and trade organization of companies with economical interest in the packaging business. EUROPEN’s members are companies actively dedicated to finding solutions for the questions of environment protection, as well as collaborating with other participants, regardless which materials or systems are in question.
We inteviewed Mr. Julian Carroll, EUROPEN’s managing director since 1993, under who’s leadership this organization became an aknowledged opinion maker when it comes to packaging and environment protection. Mr.Carroll is often a guest speaker at conferences and symposiums in Europe and North America, with topics on packaging and sustainability, environmental politics, as well as laws and responsabilities of packaging producers.
