The World Packaging Organization (WPO) is made up today of member organizations from 42 countries. Many members are packaging institutes; other significant members are national or regional trade organizations that promote their countries’ packaging products. In recent years, WPO has focused on packaging in developing nations. WPO promotes projects and actions aligned to its main slogan “Better Quality of Life through Better Packaging for More People.” We held an interview with Keith Pearson, the president of WPO, as an announcement of the World Packaging Congress and WorldStar award ceremony that Tectus d.o.o., Institute of Packaging and Graphic Arts and Ambalaža/REGprint trade journal will be organizing in Cavtat in June 2012.
