Our Plan Is Ambitious, but Achievable
According to their five-year plan which started this year and includes obligatory collecting and recyclnig, Serbia plans to reduce its packaging waste by 30 percent by the end of 2014. After that National goals for the next five years will be made until the final planned percentage is achieved. Aleksandar Vesić, Assistant Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, explained how they are regulating the new system of packaging waste management, how they plan to solve the problems brought about by the new obligation and why they think Slovenian system is the best.
