We talked with Mr. Jürgen Gemeinhardt, chief of Fogra’s Printing technologies department. Since 2004 he is head of the department “Printing techniques”, where projects in the areas of offset, newspaper, continuous forms, screen and digital printing are addressed. Furthermore he is responsible for the worldwide certification of print shops according to “Process Standard Offset” (ISO 12647). Jürgen Gemeinhardt explained the necessity of standardization of printing processes that improve profitability and increase its competitiveness.
