Nex Press, a digital color press machine, was first introduced in the 2001, as the result of the joint development and investment of the Kodak and Heidelberg companies. It was a “dream collaboration” – the German giant brought to the project its world renowned engineering expertise, and Kodak followed with its unsurpassable imaging technology and software.
The fact that the Nex Press is still unbelievably popular, even 10 years after its launch, says a lot about the quality of its production and the technology that Heidelberg and Kodak invested in the development process. But one of the biggest advantages is certanly its concept, that allows the users a possibity to upgrade the machine on site, according to the needs of the market and technology development.
