In the last couple of years, the local graphic-processing industry has shown some trends of which we should be proud of. Since 1987, industrial production in Croatia has been declining, while the printing and publishing business is one of the very few which not only has managed to reach the results from the 1990, but also outgrow them by 257%. The numbers and indexes listed in the article are showing that these businesses are still on a rather high level, especially if compared to other industrial branches, although signs of global problems are unfortunately appearing.
