Trade Union in Printing and Publishing Industry of Croatia is among the oldest trade unions in the region. More precisely, they celebrated 140th anniversary this year. Namely, on July 24th, 1870 first Rules and Regulations of the Typographic Society have been verified by the Austro-Hungarian authorities, which is considered to be the date when the Union started working legally. In honour of this great jubilee we talked with Mr Stjepan Kolarić, a President of the Union, about the changes in the role of the Union and trends in Croatian printing and publishing industry.
